First look of George Clooney in Neflix’s new Noah Baumbach movie ‘Jay Kelly’

Netflix have shared the first look at George Clooney in director Noah Baumbach‘s upcoming movie Jay Kelly.

The image shows Clooney in a white suit as the titular character, with an image in the background showing Kelly on a billboard. The movie is set for release in UK cinemas on November 14th before arriving on the streaming platform on December 4th.

The cast also features Adam Sandler, Billy Crudup, Laura Dern, Grace Edwards, Stacy Keach, Riley Keough, Emily Mortimer, Patrick Wilson, Nicôle Lecky, Thaddea Graham, Jim Broadbent, Eve Hewson, Alba Rohrwacher, Lenny Henry, Josh Hamilton and Greta Gerwig.

While little information is known regarding the storyline, which has been kept under lock and key, Netflix has unveiled the tagline, “Everybody knows Jay Kelly, but Jay Kelly doesn’t know himself.”

Jay Kelly was co-written by Emily Mortimer, who also appears in the film, alongside Baumbach. The director also produced the movie alongside David Heyman and Amy Pascal, who were recently named as the new James Bond producers.

Earlier this year, in an exclusive interview with Far Out, actor Jamie Demetriou said he was “NDA’d through the teeth” to ensure the project remained shrouded in mystery. However, he did explain how it was inspiring to be involved, noting, “Seeing what it is to be dedicated to quality on that level is really impressive.”

Jay Kelly is Baumbach’s fourth Netflix movie and
