The series will follow Su-in as she comes to terms with her newfound co-existence with a parasite. She does this while keeping an eye on the efforts of Team Grey, a fraction group determined to kill these parasites.

Jeon So-nee, who starred in Our Blooming Youth, will star as Su-in. Also, from D.P., Koo Kyo-hwan will play the character of Kang-woo, who is described as a man with a drive to fight off parasites to locate his missing sister.

Additionally, Lee Jung-hyun, who fans will know from Decision To Leave, will be playing Jun-kyung. Hae-hyo, played by In-kwon, will join his character.

Heading up directing duties for Parasyte: The Grey is Yeon Sang-ho, who is best known for the work on his breakout film, Train To Busan. The new movie adds to his list of projects that he has carried out with Netflix, including JUNG_EHellbound and The Bequeathed.
