First look at Netflix’s 'Army of Thieves' teaser trailer

Zack Snyder’s zombie heist film Army of the Dead performed astoundingly well on Netflix. Netflix has recently unveiled the teaser for the upcoming film Army of Thieves, set to stream globally on October 29, 2021, just a few days before Halloween.

Army of Thieves is set to be a prequel to the successful blockbuster Army of the Dead. Starring Matthias Schweighöfer in the lead role as the ordinary small-town safecracker Ludwig Dieter, the film will focus on a massive European heist. The job tries to take advantage of the financial collapse of the banking system in the United States due to the outbreak of the mysterious zombie pandemic in Las Vegas.

Nathalie Emmanuel, popular for her role in Game of Thrones, will be seen as the mysterious woman recruiting Dieter to make his life less ordinary. She will be joined by Stuart Martin, Ruby O.Fee, Guz Khan and more in the cast.

Created by Zack Snyder and Shay Hatten, the musical scores will be composed by the legendary Hans Zimmer, who is known for having composed the score for popular films such as The Dark Knight, Gladiator and Inception, to name a few.

After Army of the Dead was a massive success at Netflix, reaching record-breaking milestones including nearly 72 million viewership globally, making it one of the ten most-watched films on Netflix, it is expected that Army of Thieves will live up to the same expectation as well.

While we wait to see Snyder expanding his zombie heist universe, watch the teaser below:
