Every film and series coming to Netflix this week: October 2023

The great thing about having a Netflix subscription is the constant release of new titles every week. Whether it be an original series, the latest season of a popular show, or the addition of a beloved comfort movie, the streaming service has got you covered.

This week, Netflix is treating users to a mix of old and new titles, with movies such as the Oscar-winning Silver Linings Playbook and the romantic comedy Long Shot available to watch. On Friday 20th October, several new movies will be available, such as the comedies Old Dads and Kandasamys: The Baby.

Netflix is also releasing several short horror movies this week in anticipation of Halloween. Disco Inferno will be available on Friday with a synopsis which reads: “A young couple conjures a dark presence that hungers for their unborn baby as they prepare to burn up the dance floor at LA’s hottest disco.” 

Flashback is also part of the horror series, which follows a yoga teacher who must “save the man she loves” while her home is invaded. Elsewhere, kids can enjoy some of the Halloween spirit with the new series I Woke Up A Vampire.
