Father-daughter creator duo Salish Matter and Jordan are set to arrive on Netflix
Netflix is expanding the horizons of its content reach with a groundbreaking, multifaceted deal with father-daughter creator duo Salish Matter and Jordan.
For the last six years, the father-daughter duo’s weekly adventures every Saturday had kept the audience glued to the screens.
Now, Salish Matter and Jordan have officially been welcomed to the Netflix family with a creative partnership that promises to showcase the family’s iconic moments on streaming this spring. They have inked the deal to develop, produce, and star in original projects.
This means that the pair will continue to expand their beloved franchises, such as the 24-hour challenges, while simultaneously developing exclusive new projects for Netflix, spanning the scripted, unscripted, and animated sectors. The deal also comprises a partnership on consumer products and experiential offerings.
For those out of the digital loop, Salish Matter was awarded the 2025 Female Creator of the Year at the Kids’ Choice Awards at only 15. In addition to being a stunning gymnast, content creator, and a teenager, Salish co-founded the skincare line, Sincerely Yours in collaboration with Sephora. When the brand was launched, it attracted a staggering number of over 80,000 fanatic fans.
Salish’s social media fame began with her father’s YouTube channel when she was a preteen. It was previously a photography vlog. But noticing Salish’s ascent, the success pushed the duo further to make more content together. Eventually, they even launched a family-oriented channel with more than 34.1million subscribers and 13.3billion lifetime views.
“So many shows I love are on Netflix, and I can’t believe that soon I will have one of those shows,” Salish said. “It’s a super exciting opportunity, and I can’t wait to start filming.” And it looks like Salish’s father is also on the same page.
“They’re unmatched in scale, vision, and global reach, and this collaboration allows us to expand the storytelling our audience already loves into new formats while staying true to the creative world we’ve built,” Jordan added. The photographer-videographer himself has over 43million followers across social media, two New York Times best-selling photography books, and a Kids’ Choice Award he took home alongside Salish in 2024.
While Netflix has been working overtime to bring new kinds of content besides the existing, with Salish Matter and Jordan’s impending arrival, a new chapter awaits the streamer. Their archive content will be dropped on the platform later this year. As for the rest of the details, check back later for more.
