The Night Agent is returning on Netflix with a new adventure to look forward to in 2026. As it turns out, viewers won’t have to hold their lattes for long to watch this Gabriel Basso comeback.

Netflix most recently unveiled first-look photos, revealing that Amanda Warren is set to return as Peter Sutherland’s handler, Catherine Weaver. They’re joined by a multitude of returning actors, who have been promoted to series regulars in the third season.

What is The Night Agent season three about?

While Netflix has remained tight-lipped about the plot of The Night Agent season three, a recently released trailer, which you can check out below, shows Peter stepping into a swarming stadium and setting his sights on his target. Next, we get a fast-paced montage of Peter kicking down a door set ablaze, pulling out an enemy from the back of a truck on the move, and deploying his gun.

“We’re so excited to bring new thrills, new worlds, new stunts, new characters, and new adventures to our fans in season three,” Shawn Ryan tells Tudum, showering gratitude on fans for all the love they received in season two.

Who’s in the cast and crew?

Besides the series action hero, played by Basso and Warren, the season three cast of The Night Agent includes Fola Evans-Akingbola, Ward Horton, and Albert Jones, who are now series regulars. Previously announced members comprise David Lyons, Jennifer Morrison, Stephen Moyer, Genesis Rodriguez, Callum Vinson, and Suraj Sharma.

Ryan, with MiddKidd Productions, returns as the series creator, showrunner, and executive producer. Also executive producing the series are Marney Hochman for MiddKidd Productions, Seth Gordon and Julia Gunn for Exhibit A, James Vanderbilt, William Sherak, Paul Neinstein, and Nicole Tossou for Project X, as well as Munis Rashid, Paul Bernard, Guy Ferland, and Seth Fisher.
