The story picks up after The Fallen Sun, and it sounds like Luther is walking straight back into trouble. The killer this time isn’t just clever; they’re calculated, and that always gets under his skin. The more he investigates, the blurrier that line between justice and obsession gets.

Who’s in the cast?

The holy trinity of Luther is back: Idris Elba as the detective, Ruth Wilson as Alice Morgan and Dermot Crowley as Martin Schenk, the detective who tries to keep his sanity while dealing with Luther’s mess. Together, they’re the heart of this world. It’s basically the dream team reforming for one more morally questionable adventure. And yes, more cast members will be announced soon, but even if it were just these three, we’d still watch it twice.
