The Man From Toronto has released their official logline. The film will chronicle a classic case of mistaken identities when the well-known titular assassin and a regular New Yorker named Teddy get their identities mixed up in a rented Airbnb and end up in an epic mess.
They team up to survive the catastrophe but will have a hard time tolerating one another.

The film stars the iconic Kevin Hart as the screw-up Teddy while Woody Harrelson will be playing the role of the assassin.

The film has suffered massive setbacks due to the coronavirus pandemic. While filming was supposed to begin in March 2020, the filming schedule was pushed back due to two major reasons, namely the pandemic and the recasting of Jason Statham. Statham was replaced by Harrelson and the filming finally began on October 15th, 2020, before concluding on December 17th, 2020.
The Man From Toronto has been filmed predominantly in Atlanta, US, as well as some other locations across Canada, including Toronto, Milton, Ontario and more.

While the film was initially slated for a November 2020 premiere, the pandemic disrupted all plans. From September 2021 to August 2022, the release date kept changing. However, Netflix acquired global rights to the film in all countries, except China.
