We saw Thor, AKA Chris Hemsworth, in action as the suave Tyler Rake in Extraction, one of Netflix’s hottest originals. Hemsworth is set to reprise his role yet again in the upcoming sequel Extraction 2 that has already garnered a lot of fan attention.
As Tyler Rake, Hemsworth displayed his swagger in such high-strung action films. His ability to capture audience attention with fast and slick movements and the determination he showed in the face of utter violence amassed him a lot of critical appreciation.

What is the plot of Extraction 2?
After surviving the wounds from his terrifying Dhaka mission, Rake is back and totally ready to take on his next mission. He is tasked with the duties of saving a family who has been held captive by a Georgian gangster.
Rake has to enter an impenetrable prison to save them. However, a mishap will lead to the gangster’s more brutal and ruthless brother tryingto exact revenge by pursuing Rake and his team.
Who are the cast members on Extraction 2?
Netflix’s Extraction 2 has not yet revealed the entire cast except the fact that Chris Hemsworth will be reprising his role of Tyler Rake.
What is the production status of Extraction 2?
Netflix’s Extraction 2 was originally scheduled to commence filming in Sydney, Australia. However, due to various Covid protocols, the production has now shifted to Prague in the Czech Republic.
Hemsworth confirmed on his Instagram that filming is slated to begin in November of this year.
When will Extraction 2 be released?
Due to the current status of production, Netflix’s Extraction 2 will most likely premiere towards the end of next year. However, it could also be a part of the big summer lineup for the streamer and make an early appearance in July or August of 2022.
