What is Mother of the Bride about?

At the heart of Mother of the Bride lies a tale of familial revelation and unexpected reunions. Brooke Shields’s Lana finds herself embroiled in a whirlwind of emotions when her daughter, Emma (played by Miranda Cosgrove), announces her imminent nuptials in Thailand. 

However, her joy turns to dismay as Lana discovers that Emma’s chosen groom is none other than the son of Lana’s long-lost love, who broke her heart once upon a time, reigniting memories of a past she had long buried.

Brooke Shields headlines the ensemble cast, portraying the titular mother of the bride. The School of Rock and iCarly actor Miranda Cosgrove plays Lana’s determined daughter, Emma. 

Benjamin Bratt, Chad Michael Murray, Rachael Harris, Michael McDonald, Sean Teale, Wilson Cruz, Tasneem Roc, and Dalip Sondhi complete the stellar lineup.
