Everything to know about ‘Finding Her Edge’ season two

Netflix officially has its cameras rolling once again for the fan-favourite ice-dancing drama Finding Her Edge, which premiered on the platform with its debut season in 2025 and scored a quick renewal. Now, the cast and crew are back on location in Southern Ontario for the highly anticipated sophomore season.

The first instalment of the sports romance drama had Adriana Russo facing the twists and turns both on the rink and in romance. And “we’ve got a juicy season two coming this year, and I think the fans are really going to enjoy the new storylines and new characters,” actor Madelyn Keys teases Tudum. “I’m absolutely thrilled to be back.”

“The world fell in love with our figure skaters in season one, and it’s a privilege to be able to continue their character arcs as they swap Russo Rink for Voltage Skating Academy with new loves, new rivalries, and new competitions,” showrunner and executive producer Jeff Norton chimes in.

So, for those curious about the rest of the details, here’s a rundown of everything known so far about Finding Her Edge season two.

What happens in the second season?

In the second season of Finding Her Edge, based on Jennifer Iacopelli’s YA novel, the Russo sisters swap their family rink for the crushing stress of Voltage Academy, where every skate could sink or swim their National Team dreams. But the pressures are simply not mounting on ice, as Adriana finds herself torn apart between her faithful boyfriend Freddie and her former skating partner Brayden, whom she never truly got over.

“We set the bar pretty high with season one and somehow season two manages to raise it,” actor Cake Ambrozic, who portrays Brayden, says. Meanwhile, Olly Atkins adds, “Everything feels bigger, the stakes are higher, and there are definitely a few surprises I don’t think anyone will see coming.”

Who is in the cast?

Among the returning cast of Finding Her Edge, Madelyn Keys reprises her role as Adriana Russo, Harmon Walsh as Will Russo, Alexandra Beaton as Elise Russo, Cale Ambrozic as Brayden Elliot, Olly Atkins as Freddie O’Connell, Meredith Forlenza as Camille St Denis, Alice Malakhov as Maria Russo, Millie Davis as Riley Monroe, Yona Epstein-Roth as JJ Harmon, and Elvis Stojko returns as series regular Kevin, the Voltage Academy owner.
