Everyone is complaining about one thing in ‘Cobra Kai’
Fans of the popular Netflix series Cobra Kai have all voiced similar complaints over how the well-received season six, part one, ended.
The whole series is dedicated to being a prequel to the Karate Kid films. The sixth and final season will be released in three parts. The next batch of episodes isn’t set to be released until November, which disappoints fans who are struggling to get over the way the first part has finished.
The controversy came when a late-in-the-day twist impacted the show and changed its whole dynamic. Given the wait time until the next part, it’s understandable why fans are upset.
In the first part of the season, the characters are working towards the prestigious Sekai Taikai tournament. In the final episode of the series, it is revealed that Sam (Mary Mouser), Tory (Peyton List), Robby (Tanner Buchanan), Miguel (Xolo Maridueña), Demetri (Gianni DeCenzo) and Devon (Oona O’Brien) have all been chosen to go represent Miyagi-Do in Barcelona.
The big twist comes after Tory’s mother passes away. She decides to quit the dojo and, to the shock of audiences everywhere, moves over to the villainous Cobra Kai, who has returned to the mentorship of John Kreese.
The season ends as soon as this bombshell is dropped, leaving fans clamouring for more information as they try their best to figure out what could happen next. There hasn’t been any further information about the series unearthed, so people will likely have to wait until the next part of series six comes.
This remains a developing story as we wait for more details surrounding the release of new episodes.
