Every Zendaya movie currently streaming on Netflix

It’s been an interesting week in the Zendaya world. After her long-time stylist, Law Roach, suggested that she and Tom Holland may have already got married, the rumour mill kicked into high gear. And honestly, we believe him. Zendaya and Holland are known to keep their personal engagements private, and this might be a part of it.

The couple haven’t confirmed anything themselves, and knowing how private they are, they probably won’t rush to clarify. Whether the secret wedding speculation turns out to be real or not, it’s another reminder of how much interest follows Zendaya wherever she goes.

And while the headlines focus on her personal life, we still have enough of her content on Netflix to stream. Zendaya has built a solid portfolio over the years, moving between romance, drama, and even animation. If anything, moments like this just make fans want to go back and watch her projects again.

So if you are in the mood to turn all that curiosity into a movie night, here is a full look at every Zendaya movie currently streaming on Netflix.

Malcolm & Marie (Sam Levinson, 2021)

So Malcolm & Marie starts with Malcolm coming home after his movie premiere. He is excited, talking about how great the night was. Marie is clearly upset, and you can tell something is off. He forgot to thank her in his speech, and that small mistake turns into a huge argument. The whole film is basically them moving around the house, fighting about their relationship, their history, and who really sacrificed what. Naturally, old issues come up. We watch their feelings get exposed, and neither of them backs down.

Zendaya is honestly the reason you should watch this film. The whole time, you are watching her face, waiting to see what she will say next. At first, she is just listening, letting Malcolm talk. Then she starts responding, and you realise she has been clocking everything. When she finally lets her feelings out, it doesn’t feel dramatic for the sake of it. It feels earned. You can see the hurt and the frustration all mixed together. By the end of it, you are not even thinking about the setting or the black-and-white aesthetic. You are just fully invested in Marie and what she is feeling.

Duck Duck Goose (Chris Jenkins, 2018)

After all that late-night tension, Duck, Duck, Goose is a super easy switch. This one follows Peng, a cocky goose who thinks he can outfly everyone. One bad stunt later he hurts his wing and gets left behind. Eventually, he then ends up travelling with two lost ducklings during migration. He keeps trying to ditch them, but the trip slowly changes him. It turns into a cute survival journey across skies, lakes, and forests with loads of funny moments along the way.

Zendaya voices one of the ducklings named Chi, and she brings such a sweet energy to it. Chi looks tiny but she is brave and fully believes Peng can do better. Zendaya makes her sound real and not cartoonish. You can hear the warmth in her voice, especially in scenes where Chi pushes Peng to grow up. It is fun and a nice break from her heavier roles.

Dune: Part One (Denis Villeneuve, 2021)

Now jumping into Dune: Part One. Most of you might’ve not missed this masterpiece, but for those who have, this story follows Paul Atreides after his family moves to a desert planet called Arrakis. It is the only place that produces spice which controls space travel and power. And before you know, things go wrong fast. Multiple betrayals take place, and we watch Paul having visions about the future. That is where Zendaya comes in as Chani. She mostly appears in his dreams, but every scene matters. She does not talk much, but you remember her. Those blue eyes are unforgettable. She makes you curious about her before you really know her.

The first part of Dune does not have much of her appearance, but even with limited screen time Zendaya makes Chani feel important. She plays her with a sense of strength which makes even a simple look say enough. The chemistry with Timothée Chalamet is subtle, a requirement of the storyline. It is a short appearance, but she makes it count.

Dune: Part Two (Denis Villeneuve, 2024)

Then Dune Part Two is where she actually gets to shine. Paul joins the Fremen and starts embracing his rising power while Chani fights beside him. This time she is not a vision or a mystery. She is fully present in the story and is very much involved in the resistance on Arrakis.

Zendaya gets real material here, and she runs with it. Her Chani is strong but not blindly supportive. She questions Paul and challenges his choices, which adds tension to their relationship. Again, the demand of the story. You can see the conflict in her eyes as his influence grows. And the twist at the end of this part will help you realise what an amazing actress Zendaya really is.
