Every Netflix series going into production for the rest of 2025

Netflix is so baked into our everyday life that it’s almost a breakfast tradition. While most folks are out here turning down the tempo with lazy summer mornings, Netflix has been doing the opposite: sprinting through summers like it’s on double espresso.

As we roll into August and slide towards autumn, Netflix is strapping in for several rides on the hype train. So, for those burning with questions, we’ve got your roadmap for every Netflix series going into production this fall.

With renewals flying at light speed and high-profile productions popping up left and right, it’s only going to get bigger and better from now on. While these production dates are highly subject to change, consider this a rough framework. Starting with the 3 Body Problem, David Benioff co-created with DB Weiss and Alexander Woo, it is currently in production in Hungary for its sophomore season. It’s expected to stretch into 2026 with season three filming soon after.

Meanwhile, the hit Avatar: The Last Airbender has been filming for its third season throughout the summer. It is expected to finish in early November. The show has been mostly filmed in Vancouver, Canada, with minor scenes shot in Iceland. Additionally, Harlan Coben’s I Will Find You has been in production in Toronto since April. Filming is ongoing under the working title Quartz and is about to wrap in mid-August.

Little House on the Prairie is currently shooting in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It will continue through early October 2025. Another period drama piece filming in London, UK, since July is Pride and Prejudice. Speaking of ongoing productions, Outer Banks is also on the move for its fifth season. Filming has been ongoing since mid-June, finishing in mid-December. So is the untitled Jesse McKeown Sea Monster series, which began in July, expected to wrap in Newfoundland and Labrador on October 12th. Trinity is also currently in production.

Likewise, Vladimir’s first season has got the cameras rolling in early July in Mississauga, Canada. It will call it a wrap somewhere around mid-September. K-dramas, including Variety, All of Us Are Dead (season two), Road, The Rat, and Take Charge of My Heart, are also currently in production, expected to finish through February 2026, late 2025/early 2026, January 2026, and November 2025, respectively. The Altruists and The Gentlemen season two started filming in July and May in Vancouver, and the UK, and Italy, respectively. The former runs through December and the latter through October.

Now, coming to shows that will go into production in a few, the list starts with Steven Spielberg and the Obamas’ All the Sinners Bleed. This new crime drama series will film in Atlanta from November 3rd through May 2026. Dan Levy’s Big Mistakes is getting its ducks in a row for an early August filming in New Jersey, to be continued through mid-October. Similarly, Easton Prep will begin filming from late August in Victoria through November, while Black Doves will start shooting for its second season from late September.

Free Bert will finish filming in Atlanta, Georgia, this August. Meanwhile, Ginny & Georgia is expected to get going for its fourth season from September 29th to February 25th in Toronto, Canada. Golf picks up pace this September through December, and Grown Ups kick-starts production late in August. Plus, Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story is also slated to commence filming from September through March in LA. And the third season of My Life with the Walter Boys is kicking things off in Calgary, Alberta, from August 6th to December 1st.

North of North season two is expected to film throughout the second half of the year in Toronto and Iqaluit, Nunavut, in Canada. Meanwhile, Quasimodo will get to filming in mid-August in Paris through November. Ransom Canyon’s second season will start shooting on September 17th, while Running Point returns on August 11th until November 20th.

The Body and The Boys from Brazil have been eyeing September and October shooting schedules in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and the UK, Europe, and Brazil, respectively. Filming for Wednesday season three could begin this fall. However, there’s no word on it yet. Netflix aims to call it a year with Show Business and Grand Galaxy Hotel, with filming scheduled for late 2025.
