Every movie and series leaving Netflix this week: October-November 2025

So we may have spoken too soon. Last week, we said Netflix was taking it easy, giving us a breather for once. But then November showed up with its moving boxes, ready to evict half your watchlist. Turns out, the last few days of October were the calm before the storm, and November 1st is bringing heartbreak. And not the quiet one.

Netflix is removing a few things this week, but it is not the usual twenty-title heartbreak. The first couple of days are packed, though. Starting small, on October 28th, What a Party! Stories About Gabriel García Márquez (2022) is leaving. You probably didn’t even know it existed, and that’s okay. It is one of those quiet documentaries that got buried under five different murder shows and a new season of Love Is Blind. Still, if you have ever wanted to seem smarter at brunch, now’s the time.

Then October 29th takes Becoming Abi (2021) and Mythomaniac (Seasons 1–2). Both of them deserved more attention than they got, especially Mythomaniac, that French Netflix show no one watched but everyone who did won’t shut up about. It’s about a woman faking an illness to get her family’s attention and the dark idea, funny execution, and somehow weirdly addictive. Becoming Abi, on the other hand, is just painfully relatable. The kind of office awkwardness that makes you want to mute your own coworkers in real life.

On October 30th, Ralph Barbosa: Cowabunga (2023) exits, and that one hurts a little. Barbosa’s comedy feels like listening to someone who just woke up from a nap, but still manages to be funny. He’s so laid back it almost feels like he’s daring you not to laugh. If you’ve never watched it, it’s the easiest 45 minutes of your week.

And then comes November 1st, which is when Netflix goes full demolition mode. We’re losing La La Land, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Happy Gilmore, Ali, The Gentlemen, and the entire Fast & Furious collection – basically, the cinematic version of your teenage years. Oh, and all the Shrek movies are gone, too. Every. Single. One. Netflix really looked at your inner child and said, “Let it go.”

As if that wasn’t enough, Six Feet Under is also leaving. Apparently, Netflix doesn’t want you to feel emotionally stable going into November. And on November 2nd, Past Lives exits too. Yes, the one that made you question every romantic decision you’ve ever made.

So yeah, this week’s list isn’t just longer; it’s personal. You can’t even distract yourself with cartoons, because Despicable Me and Minions are packing their little yellow bags too. It’s brutal.

Still, the only silver lining is that once all this chaos clears, we’re heading into a loaded November, one with Stranger Things Season 5 on the horizon. Until then, watch what’s leaving, pour one out for La La Land, and brace yourself for the emotional whiplash Netflix clearly enjoys putting us through.
