Every movie and series leaving Netflix this week: November 2025
Netflix has started the month with another round of goodbyes, trimming down movies and shows faster than anyone can catch up. The first week of November is clearing out everything from recent releases to long-standing favourites, and it reminds you that nothing on the homepage is ever safe for long.
The first exists arrive on November 3rd with 2 Hearts (2020), a romantic drama that built its entire reputation on making viewers cry. It is followed by Costa Brava, Lebanon (2021), a film that follows a family trying to hold on to some peace in a country that’s falling apart. Together, they start off a week that only gets tougher for your watchlist.
A day later, on November 4th removes a big batch of international titles is removed, including 40 Sticks, Knuckle City, Lusala, and Mense van die Wind. These are not your blockbusters that make it to the trending list, but together they form Netflix’s strongest global catalogue. These are the films that feel like a reward for the curious watchers. Losing them feels like watching an entire corner of the cinema vanish just like that.
Then comes the big shake-up on November 6th. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024) leaves much earlier than expected, ending its brief but entertaining stay. For those who hadn’t even realised it was streaming, that window is already closed. Alongside it goes Citation (2020), one of Netflix’s own originals that actually had something to say. Its exit stings more because it represents the rare original that felt relevant.
If that wasn’t enough, November 8th delivers the gut punch with A Star Is Born (2018) departing once again. The film that launched a thousand karaoke disasters and reminded everyone of Bradley Cooper’s directorial chops is gone, taking its Grammy-winning melancholy with it. It’s been on and off Netflix several times, but somehow, the goodbye always feels personal.
The series departures this week will hit just as hard. Hometown (2021) leaves on November 3rd, closing its run of mystery and memory. Dirty Jobs is leaving on November 5th, and November 6th sees the departure of Care Bears & Cousins, which is a Netflix Original that deserved a longer run. All these, alongside Reba, the Southern sitcom that’s been background comfort for countless viewers. Wrong Kind of Black also bows out that day, taking with it one of the platform’s most overlooked limited series.
November 7th wraps up the week with three more departures: Face Off, Fate/Apocrypha, and The Improv: 60 and Still Standing. It’s a strange combination, but somehow, it sums up Netflix’s unpredictable approach to licensing.
What really stands out this week is how international the exits are. Titles from South Africa, Kenya, and Lebanon are all leaving together, which probably means a few regional deals have ended.
All in all, it’s a busy first week for departures and a clear sign that November won’t be a quiet month. So if there’s something you’ve been meaning to start, don’t wait for the algorithm to remind you because probably by next week, it might already be gone.
