Every movie and series leaving Netflix this week: June 2026

Here we go; yet another week rolls around and, as ever, Netflix is removing a few more films and shows from the catalogue. Luckily, it’s not really the crazy clear-out we had earlier in June, but there are still a few decent bits getting binned between the 15th and the 21st. The big ones this week are The Iron Claw, The Creator, all the Expendables films, and a few Netflix series like 61st Street, Aquarius, Moonhaven and The Rational Life.

Out of the lot, The Iron Claw is probably the one that’s going to sting the most. It came out in 2023 and tells the heartbreaking true story of the Von Erich family, who were absolute legends in the wrestling world. Sean Durkin directed it, and instead of going down the usual “underdog” route, he made something with loads more depth and emotion. Zac Efron was fantastic in it as Kevin Von Erich, probably the best he has ever been, if we’re honest. The film ended up getting loads of praise for how it tackled family and ambition.

If sci-fi’s more your thing, you have not got long left to catch The Creator before it legs it on June 20th. It’s from Gareth Edwards, the guy who did Rogue One, and it’s set in a future where humans are scrapping with artificial intelligence. People couldn’t make their minds up about it when it first came out, but nearly everyone agreed it looked absolutely unbelievable. The visual effects were next level, especially when you consider it didn’t have the daft budgets most big sci-fi blockbusters get these days. It’s built up a loyal fanbase since then, and all.

June 20th is also the day Netflix waves goodbye to all four Expendables films. That’s a fair chunk of action movies gone in one hit. Stallone put the series together as a love letter to old-school action flicks, and it ended up packing in basically every action hero under the sun. You have Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Arnie, Chuck Norris, Wesley Snipes, Harrison Ford, and Mel Gibson… the whole ensemble. The films themselves split opinion a bit, but if you grew up on action movies, they are still good craic just for seeing all those legends knocking about together.

Elsewhere, there are a few smaller films worth giving a whirl before they leave. Before I Go To Sleep has Nicole Kidman playing a woman whose memory resets every day, which makes for a tense psychological thriller. Then you have got The Illusionist with Edward Norton and Jessica Biel, still one of the slickest mystery dramas from the 2000s. If you fancy something different, Silver Skates is worth a look too. It’s a lavish Russian period drama set around the frozen canals of old St Petersburg and ended up being a massive hit over there.

Over on the series side of things, 61st Street is probably the biggest loss. It’s a legal drama created by Peter Moffat and backed by Michael B. Jordan, taking a thoughtful look at policing and the American justice system. Courtney B. Vance was especially brilliant in it and got loads of praise. Aquarius is heading out as well, with David Duchovny playing a detective looking into crimes linked to Charles Manson’s growing influence back in 1960s Los Angeles.

Rounding things off, you’ve also got Moonhaven leaving, which is a sci-fi mystery set in a supposedly perfect colony on the Moon, along with Millennials and The Rational Life.

So yeah, as always, Netflix keeps changing things up every week. But if you are still confused about what to watch, then The Iron Claw, The Creator, 61st Street and The Illusionist are probably the stand-out shows before they do one over the next seven days.
