Every movie and series leaving Netflix this week: June 2025
Netflix viewers may want to consider moving a few things up on their watchlist. This week, a long line of movies and series are set to leave the platform across the US and the UK. More importantly, this list contains some of those titles you will not want to miss. From big-budget superhero sagas to cult classics and comforting comedies, the first full week of June is quietly saying goodbye to a surprisingly diverse selection.
If you were hoping to revisit Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, you are out of luck. Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises all exited on June 1st. Their disappearance marks more than the end of an action lineup; it takes away some of the most genre-defining films of the 2000s. For many viewers, these movies were a benchmark for what superhero storytelling could achieve.
Another heavy loss was GoodFellas, Scorsese’s razor-sharp crime masterpiece. It is the kind of film that has remained endlessly rewatchable for over three decades. Also gone are Pride & Prejudice, Burlesque, and Magic Mike XXL, meaning anyone in the mood for comfort rewatches or musical drama had a narrow window to squeeze them in. For UK subscribers, The Footballer, His Wife and the Crash is released early in the week, and although it is not as high-profile as some titles, it has found a loyal audience during its streaming run.
On June 8, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish leaves Netflix UK, and that stings a little. The animated sequel gained critical acclaim for its storytelling and visual style, especially among older viewers who went in expecting fluff and came out emotional. If you are in the mood for smart animation that respects its audience, you have a few days left to catch it.
In the US, I Am Woman exists on June 7th. The Helen Reddy biopic had a modest release but earned attention for its empowering tone and strong musical backbone. Titles like Sordid Lives, Girls Will Be Girls, and Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo also join the farewell list, and while they may not dominate headlines, they add colour to Netflix’s disappearing catalogue.
The series section is smaller this week, but no less notable. US viewers will see Ben 10 (Seasons one–three) leave on June 5th, a hit of nostalgia for anyone who grew up during Cartoon Network’s golden years. On June 6, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked (season one) leaves the UK catalogue, a reminder that streaming availability is as fleeting as a final runway look.
All in all, over twenty titles will vanish between June 2nd and June 8th across Netflix US and UK. Whether you are into crime epics, animated quests, or low-stakes comfort watches, there is something worth catching before it disappears.
