Netflix is cutting loose a few titles this week, and if you were planning to get around to them finally, you are already running out of time. From a Quentin Tarantino classic to the complete five-season run of Prison Break, the departures are pretty heavy this time.

And no, it’s not about panic-watching everything at once, but if you have had Wicked Little Letters or All Na Vibes sitting in your list just waiting for the right weekend, this might be your final shot. Also, please don’t be under the delusion that they are moving to another platform. Some of these will be gone for good until one fine day, Netflix decides to bring them back.

Some exits hurt more than others, though. Like The Hateful Eight, in both its theatrical and extended miniseries versions? That’s a huge loss, especially if you love Tarantino-level tension and a cabin full of people who definitely have secrets. If you have never seen it, you had till yesterday, sorry.

Also, let’s take a moment for Archibald’s Next Big Thing, which may look like a random kids’ show at first glance but is basically animated comfort TV. And not just one season, but both: gone. Wiped clean from the Netflix kids tab. The way some parents are going to panic when they realise the chicken that taught their toddler life lessons mid-episode is just… missing? Yeah, not ideal.

All Na Vibes is also getting yeeted off the platform on January 27th. The first one may not have made it to everyone’s radar, but it is one of those hidden titles that has the potential to catch you off guard. And about Wicked Little Letters, it is one of those cheeky British crime-comedy situations that definitely deserved more hype before its time was up. So if it is still there while you are reading this, you know what to do.

Now here comes the heartbreak. Prison Break, yes, all five seasons will be gone on January 30th. And if you have been procrastinating that rewatch, thinking Netflix won’t dare to remove this, you might want to reevaluate some life choices. This is one of those shows that defined a whole era of television. Michael Scofield with his escape plans that made your head spin? Gone.

Finally, on January 31st, FireAid Benefit Concert leaves the building. If you needed a little music to make you feel something, this was your shot. Nothing like live performances from artists you half-remember from your playlist rotation in 2020. Now it’s just going to disappear and probably resurface somewhere in YouTube clips 3 years later with terrible audio.

So yeah, if your weekend plans involved any of these, better move fast. And maybe start mentally preparing for the next batch of removals, because who knows, your favourite might be in the list next.
