Gaah, here we go again! Netflix is ready to lash another massive pile of films and series straight in the bin. The biggest one doing one this week is Saturday Night, which is leaving Netflix on July 25th. It’s a film about the absolute chaos going on in the final few hours before the first-ever episode of Saturday Night Live went out. Sounds exciting? It is!

And considering it has not even been on Netflix that long, this one might catch people on the hop. Most of the damage, though, is happening on July 21st.

That’s when Brighton Rock, the smart-looking 2010 British crime drama, is leaving along with RZA’s heist thriller Cut Throat City. On the very same day, they are also getting rid of Raven Song, Yahoo+ and The Storied Life of A. J. Fikry.

That last one, with Kunal Nayyar, Lucy Hale and Christina Hendricks, is the one to stick on if you are after something emotional and bookish.

The series are also taking a knock on July 21st. Argentine crime drama Okupas is off, and so is one season of Pororo & Fairy Tales.

Next up, Polly Pocket leaves on July 22nd. The 2023 kids’ series brings that familiar little toy franchise onto the TV, with tiny adventures and lots of family-friendly energy to keep the kids busy while you get five minutes’ peace.

Then, on July the twenty-fourth, you have got Tammy’s Always Dying. It’s a 2019 dark comedy starring Felicity Huffman as a difficult mum whose terminal diagnosis makes an already messy relationship with her daughter even more complicated. You should know that the film is quite uncomfortable in places. Definitely not one of those soppy family dramas where everyone has a little cry, hugs it out and lives happily ever after. Nah, none of that carry-on.
