Every movie and series coming to Netflix this week: September 2025

To all the Netflix subscribers around the world, it’s officially time to buckle up! In case you think this is going to be just another weekly announcement of every movie and series coming to Netflix this September, you’re correct.

But if you assume the arrival arc looks anything like what you have seen in the past, you’re gravely mistaken. So, if you haven’t strapped in yet, do it now because this September, Netflix doesn’t plan to wrap up the party anyway.

A Netflix party is incomplete without starters that feel like firecrackers in the mouth. Starting with the 14th season of Call the Midwife, Netflix aims to recharge Monday with the 17th season of Heartland, six instalments of Nashville, and the eighth season of SWAT. But the party doesn’t stop there. Also coming to Netflix on September 15th are Ice Road: Vengeance and Terror Comes Knocking: The Marcella Borges Story.

The streaming giant has cut some slack for September 16th. The only content coming your way this Tuesday are Rebel Royals: An Unlikely Love Story and Mobius.

On Wednesday, September 17th, Netflix will release the second season of the Polish period comedy series 1670 and the first season of Next Gen Chef. The same day, Matchroom: The Greatest Showmen’s debut season is also landing on the streamer.

While this week may not be overwhelmingly content-heavy, the arrival arc sure looks packed in terms of quality. Coming to Netflix on September 18th are three highly anticipated original productions: the Indian drama series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, a new limited series, Black Rabbit, and a Turkish comedy series, Platonic: Blue Moon Hotel. Netflix is also bringing the sixth volume of Little Angel alongside a fresh Thai rom-com, Same Day with Someone.

The streamer is dropping a chunk of the Anpanman collection on September 19th, including Anpanman: Revive Banana Island!, Anpanman: Purun, The Soap Bubble, Anpanman: Twinkle! Princess Vanilla of Ice Cream Land, and Anpanman: Shine! Kulun and the Stars of Life. Meanwhile, also coming to Netflix this Friday are the first seasons of Billionaires Bunker and Haunted Hotel. As for the movies, save the dates for Cobweb, She Said Maybe, and A Bright Lawyer.

Netflix is clearly preferring quality over quantity this week, and the weekend is proof. On September 20th, it’s dropping the long-awaited 28 Years Later along with Mafia: Most Wanted. Wrapping this chapter of every movie and series coming to Netflix is the debut season of Inside: USA on Sunday, September 21st.
