Whenever a new month commences, Netflix refills the entertainment slate with a newfound fervour. But the streaming festivities this October were not just limited to the opening salvo, as every arrival arc grabs the eye even more profoundly than the last.

If you thought the platform would slow down, now that we’re more than halfway through the month, hope the movies and series coming to Netflix this week will make you rethink.

Unlike weeks when Netflix lets loose from Monday itself, this time, the streaming giant has cut some slack to ensure viewers are well-prepared for the rest.

That’s why, beginning Tuesday, October 21st, Netflix is turning the wheel with a comedy punch, a Netflix original stand-up special, Michelle Wolf: The Wolf. Also coming to Netflix is the second season of AMC’s zombie series, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, followed by a highly anticipated baseball documentary, Who Killed the Montreal Expos?

On Wednesday, Netflix is bringing the second season of Baby Bandito, which picks up three years after the legendary heist, two much-awaited true-crime docuseries, Mob War: Philadelphia vs The Mafia, and The Monster of Florence, alongside a new Japanese live-action drama, Tokyo Tarareba Girls.

By the time it’s October 23rd, awaiting Netflix users would be the second chapter of the beloved series starring Adam Brody and Kristen Bell, Nobody Wants This, as well as an Indonesian horror movie from the catalogue of Netflix original productions, The Elixir.

Meanwhile, Friday is all about Kathryn Bigelow’s star-studded political thriller film, A House of Dynamite. Also coming to Netflix on October 24th is the first season of the AMC action series, Parish.

To end the week, Netflix will drop a fresh K-drama series, The Dream Life of Mr Kim, on October 25th. So, make sure you’re seated. Although in comparison, this arrival arc feels rather light, the impact won’t be so.
