Every movie and series coming to Netflix this week: October 2025
Netflix tends to go the extra mile whenever a new month kicks off. Clearly, October is no exception. With a bounty of new movies and series already craving for your streaming attention, the arrival arc on Netflix couldn’t look any more promising.
While it would be unfair to expect a similar dose of what’s coming to Netflix every week, the streaming giant still has plenty of streaming surprises awaiting this week, starting on October 6th.
On the series front, Netflix is bringing A Nation of Tteok, described as a South Korean docuseries with weekly episodes to be released every week. Also dropping the same day is a preschool series announced in 2022, Dr Seuss’s Horton! In the UK, Monday marks the arrival of Close Calls: on Camera and Reunion.
Fans can kickstart Tuesday with a laughter riot, thanks to the comedy special awaiting its Netflix release, Matt McCusker: A Humble Offering. Meanwhile, the medical drama, Nurse Jackie, and the horror docu-series, True Haunting, are also coming to Netflix on October 7th. Although Monday doesn’t offer a cinematic respite, the next day does with We Have Always Lived in the Castle, joining the projects arriving on Netflix. On the other hand, UK subscribers can enjoy K for Kimbap, Praise This, and The Stone that day.
As for what awaits on October 8th, viewers will be able to watch Caramelo, the Brazilian drama film, if they crave a movie night. But Wednesday is more of a series-heavy day as Nero The Assassin, Poldark, and The Golden Egg drop the same day. Also coming to Netflix UK is Is It Cake? Halloween on the same day.
But if you think Netflix is keeping the movies to itself, you’re mistaken. By the time you wake up on October 9th, waiting for you would be Christmas Blood Christmas, Host, What Happens Later, Only We Know, Prevenge, Dendam Malam Kelam, The Maze Runner collection, including The Maze Runner, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, and Maze Runner: The Death Cure. On the series front, Boots, The Resurrected, and Victoria Beckham are coming to Netflix.
Netflix will host Kurukshetra: The Great War of Mahabharata, My Father, the BTK Killer, and The Woman in Cabin 10. For the series lovers, it’s the day to keep an eye out for Old Money and Swim to Me. For the weekend, the streamer has kept the roster short and sweet with Love in the Clouds and Typhoon Family coming to Netflix on October 11th. Lastly, it will drop Some Other Woman on Sunday.
