Every movie and series coming to Netflix this week: May 2026

From the highly anticipated return of the gritty Nordic noir thriller, The Chestnut Man, to the long-awaited adaptation of Shelby Van Pelt’s classic novel, Remarkably Bright Creatures, the Netflix lineup was nothing less than a showbiz benchmark last week.

But what if we were to tell you that it was just the trailer to begin with, as the real show is about to start with everything that’s coming to Netflix this week?

After a heartwarming close to the week following the Mother’s Day celebration worldwide, Netflix is planning to kick things off with a hit indie-funded comedy, Everyone Is Doing Great, followed by Pop Culture Jeopardy!, and The Puzzle Room with David Kwong. Also coming to Netflix on Monday are Mardi Gras: Spring Break and Mrs Harris Goes to Paris to keep the mood light-hearted.

On May 12th, joining the Netflix arrival arc are the second season of the beloved animated videogame adaptation series Devil May Cry, the biographical documentary Marty, Life is Short, and the first part of the spin-off sports documentary series, Untold UK: Jamie Vardy. Meanwhile, in the UK, Silent Night, Deadly Night is also coming to Netflix.

Netflix has a Mexican drama scheduled for May 13th, titled Between Father and Son, which joins the 18th season of Married at First Sight, the fourth season of Perfect Match, the second season of Roosters, and the first season of The First 48. Also coming to Netflix this Wednesday is the French sports documentary on the controversial 2010 World Cup, The Bus: A French Football Mutiny.

While the first few days look completely packed this week, all that’s coming to Netflix on May 14th includes Goat, Nemesis, and Soul Mate. So, save the dates, mark your calendars, and plan accordingly!

That said, joining Netflix’s arrival arc this Friday are Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine, Bruid van die Jaar, Hoax: The Kidnapping of Sherri Papini, KARTAVYA, Stolen Baby: The Murder of Heidi Broussard, and The WONDERfools. Before we forget, also coming to Netflix on May 15th is the most-awaited true-crime documentary, directed by Gareth Johnson, The Crash.

With Friday down the line, all that remains is the weekend. And coming to Netflix this Saturday are Akane-Banashi, Black Phone 2, and Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano.

As it turns out, Netflix is cutting subscribers some slack this Sunday to help them catch up on all the streamer has to offer for the week. So, seize the opportunity and make it count!
