Every movie and series coming to Netflix this week: June-July 2025

With every departure arc on Netflix comes the beginning of something new. And with June outrunning the wind, Netflix subscribers have a lot to look out for through this week and beyond. The last weekend of June was full of blood-curdling anticipation, with every viewer caught up in the Squid Game streak. However, this week has a long list of Netflix arrivals you need to save your breath for.

Mondays do not always bring the best of reminders. But Best of Netflix does. So, if you’re one of those whose energy levels shrink at the thought of Mondays, Netflix is here to save the week, not just the day. The streaming giant has already dropped its guard on what’s about to come this week for the fans awaiting with bated breath. And it’s time, the viewers buckle up from the streaming heartbreak of what’s about to leave, to pull out the party poppers with what’s new on Netflix.

Netflix is currently counting the days until it’s time to sneak in with highly anticipated titles like Happy Gilmore 2 and The Sandman season two. But before they arrive, a series of projects are awaiting with a streaming garland. Netflix is ending June with Shark Whisperers, a documentary featuring marine conservationist Ocean Ramsey. Coming to Netflix on July 1st is a list of heavy hitters, starting with Attack on London: Hunting the 7/7 Bombers. The documentary will feature unseen footage of the tragic 7/7 bombings on London’s transport network in 2005.

Additionally, it will encapsulate the aftermath with insights from insider accounts. But this is not the only Netflix documentary arriving this July. Trainwreck: The Cult of American Apparel will also be released on Netflix on the same day. The documentary chronicles American Apparel’s journey from pedestal to pit. On July 2nd, Tour de France: Unchained, the Netflix documentary’s third season, will be released, followed by All the Sharks on July 4th.

Series-wise, Netflix is bringing the Uma Thurman-narrated sports show, Countdown: Taylor vs Serrano, on July 3rd. And on the very same day, the much-hyped The Sandman season two is slated for release, followed by Mr Robot, starring Rami Malek. All seasons of Mr Robot will be available on Netflix starting July 3rd. On July 1st, Portlandia (seasons 1-8), PAW Patrol (seasons 2-3), Mom (seasons 1-8), and Yellowjackets season two will arrive.

The UK audience will be treated to the first season of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and Departure’s third season on the first day of the month. On the third, Dan Da Dan’s third season arrives. The week ends with the release of The Summer Hikaru Died, scheduled for July 5th.

On the movies front, the Netflix film The Old Guard 2 will arrive on June 2nd. But on July 1st, Netflix will hit it out of the park with films you didn’t expect to see. The Karate Kid films, including The Karate Kid, The Karate Kid Part II and The Karate Kid Part III, will be on Netflix. Also, there’s good news for the Tom Cruise fans who were left frustrated with Mission: Impossible – The Dead Reckoning’s exit.

The Mission: Impossible films, including Mission: Impossible, Mission: Impossible II, Mission: Impossible III, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, will be available from July 1st. Moreover, The Hitman’s Bodyguard and The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard are coming on the same day, meaning Netflix isn’t letting anybody rest on the first day at least.

Besides these, 17 Again, Annie (1982), The Notebook, Pacific Rim, Born on the Fourth of July, Captain Phillips, Friday Night Lights, and Here Comes the Boom will also be brought on Netflix on July 1st. The UK fans are about to welcome Blue Jean, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, and Minority Report on July 1st. Complicit and The Starling Girl will be released on July 4th in the UK. Horrible Bosses, The Sweetest Thing, Tangerine, V for Vendetta, White Chicks, and Zathura: A Space Adventure round out the list, along with Andrew Garfield’s We Live in Time.

So, buckle up because this week is going to be a streaming delight on Netflix.
