Every movie and series coming to Netflix this week: June 2025

The mid-June lineup of Netflix is a mixed bag in the best way. It is not trying to stick to one genre or tone. Instead, it is giving us a buffet of choices including heavy documentaries, soft romances, chaotic thrillers, anime, stand-up specials, and international dramas. If your watchlist has been looking a little bland, this is the week to shake it up.

Let us start with Netflix UK. On June 9th, the streaming platform adds Spoiler Alert, a romantic drama that deals with love, illness, and loss in the most human way. It does not try too hard. It just works. On the same day, anime fans in the UK get Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2. Imagine a world like Harry Potter, except the lead has no magic, only gym strength and raw vibes.

June 10 drops Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy for both UK and US viewers. It is not an easy watch, but it is necessary. The documentary digs into the chaos and failure behind the fatal concert, exposing what went wrong without turning it into spectacle.

June 11th is packed. UK viewers get Cheers to Life, a rom-com that is light enough to play in the background but warm enough to actually enjoy. Both regions get Cocaine Air, a docuseries about drug smuggling at 30,000 feet; Titan: The OceanGate Disaster, and Our Times, a charming Mexican rom-com. This day feels like a full plate, with one doc to stress you out, one to make you think, and one to make you smile.

June 12th brings And the Bread Winner Is to Netflix UK, a Filipino film about a family, food, and competition. It is a good midweek watch, especially if you are in the mood for something comforting. In the US, Plane joins the catalogue. It is a solid, no-nonsense action film that gives exactly what it promises.

June 13th and 14th round out the week with some gems. The UK gets The Wrath of Becky, an underrated indie thriller with bite, and Barbarian, a horror film that starts slow but takes sharp turns. Both are worth watching with the lights off and volume up.

On June 15th, UK subscribers get The Equalizer 3, where Queen Latifah delivers solid action with heart, and Copycat, a ’90s thriller that holds up surprisingly well.

The series side of things is just as busy. Netflix UK adds The Real Fatal Attraction and Year of the Rabbit on June 9, with Aniela dropping on June 11. On June 12, both regions get FUBAR Season 2, Cells at Work!, and Fairly OddParents: A New Wish. It is chaos in the best way: action, anime, nostalgia, all in one day. Add Kings of Jo’Burg Season 3 on June 13 and Grey’s Anatomy Season 21 in the US on June 14, and your binge list is officially sorted.

This week on Netflix is not about big-budget hype. It is about finding that one show or film that hits the spot, something to laugh at, something to cry to, or something to just have on in the background while you clean your room. There is no theme. And that is exactly what makes it great.
