Every movie and series coming to Netflix this week: January 2026

Look, it’s the end of January already, and the excitement of ‘new year, new me’ wore off a week ago. All that you’re left with is a stale watchlist, and now you are stuck rewatching the same crime doc that Netflix shoved into your top 10. You need better; nay, you deserve better. And this week? Netflix is dropping just enough to tempt you back in… if you know what to look for.

Let’s start with the one that is already making noise: Megan 2.0 (January 26th). After a decently long break of a year, Netflix is bringing the sequel. Remember the time when the first M3GAN dance moves were all over TikTok? Now, the sequel is doubling down with tech wars and shady rivals. And yes, Allison Williams is back. Watch with the lights off if you dare.

Also out on the 26th: My Sesame Street Friends: My Sesame Music. Not for everyone, but if you are babysitting, hungover, or just into weird comfort TV, this might hit.

Then on January 27th, you get Mike Epps: Delusional, a brand-new Netflix comedy special. Epps is going off, and this is the type of no-filter, laugh-at-everything set that works whether you are alone or with the whole group scrolling through dinner.

The same day, you have got Take That, which is not a romcom or a thriller but a full-on documentary about the British boy band. If you don’t know them, prepare for deep fan edits, drama, and surprisingly emotional interviews. Perfect for anyone who grew up in their boyband era (or never left it).

And then, on January 29th, we are finally getting the fourth season of Bridgerton. And though it is just going to be the first volume, the excitement is the same. You know that you will be back for those corsets and orchestral covers of pop songs; you know you are going to watch. Plus, The Official Bridgerton Podcast is coming in hot alongside it, so if you want the gossip and behind-the-scenes dirt, you are covered. You know, something to look forward to between the volumes.

Then, January 30th brings something different: Gangnan Project. New teen K-drama with a half-Korean Canadian girl getting caught up in the K-pop world after taking a tutoring gig. I mean, after the massive success of KPop Demon Hunters, it is only fair that Netflix doubles down on its K-drama budget.

And finally, January 31st brings back Black-ish… all 8 seasons. If you missed it when it was airing, now is your chance to binge a show that actually understood cultural comedy before everyone else copied it.

Oh, and do you know what might be stealing the footage this week: podcasts? You are sorted for the next month. From true crime (Buried Bones, Killer Stories) to unhinged takes (Dear Chelsea, New Rory & MAL), Netflix is stacking the audio content like never before.
