After an unforgettably emotional farewell to 2025, the streaming giant is once again back at it with all that’s coming to Netflix this week. While simultaneously a lot is also slated to exit the streamer now that it’s back into the routine, for now, we hope you’re ready for what’s to come.

Netflix is planning a slow start to the week with Defying Destiny landing on the platform this Monday on the series front. Joining the Colombian book adaptation series on Netflix on January 5th is an A24 mystery thriller starring Andrew Garfield and Riley Keough, Under the Silver Lake.

Moving on to Tuesday, the only title making its way onto Netflix is the Leighton Meester and Luke Crook-starrer Good Cop/Bad Cop series that originally aired on the CW. Netflix is bringing the debut season to its US library on January 6th, so you’d better buckle up now!

That said, on Wednesday, expect to have your hands full with what’s coming to Netflix because the list is about to blow your mind in more ways than one. Starting with the sci-fi Hulu limited series, the Stephen King book adaptation, 11.22.63, to a fresh new anime series, Shiboyugi: Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table, Netflix also plans to bring the follow-up docu-series, Unlocked: A Jail Experiment, on January 7th.

Also coming to Netflix this Wednesday are Good Night and Good Luck: Live from Broadway, Marcello Hernandez: American Boy, and The Lesson.

Meanwhile, Netflix aims to continue its streak of limited series with HIS & HERS coming to Netflix this Thursday, alongside the second season of Love Is Blind: Germany and Soul on Fire. But while fans are at, it’s best to strap in your seatbelts for all that awaits Friday.

On January 9th, Alpha Males and Prodigal Son are joining the streaming race on Netflix. Movie-wise, we have a longer queue to welcome, starting with People We Meet on Vacation and Stone Cold Fox, to The Threesome. Also coming to Netflix on Friday is a concert film documentary, Depeche Mode: M.

As is tradition with Netflix, it likes to keep the weekends easy and breezy. Hence, if you think the stack of content on Friday is a bit too much to finish in a day, you can save some for Saturday, since it’s more of a day off in terms of what’s coming to Netflix.

But on Sunday, we have The Bill Simmons Podcast to live stream on Netflix. So, don’t be late to the party and save the date if there’s a chance that you might forget.
