We may have officially come to a close for 2025, with just three days remaining to round out December. But if you think the annual call for celebration brings a pause to what’s coming to Netflix this week, you’re gravely mistaken to begin with.

For the last Monday of the year, Netflix has kept the arrival arc rather thoughtful, with a mixed showcase of genres that can easily appeal to subscribers of every age bracket. In addition to the Netflix original reality series, Members Only: Palm Beach, and the return of the kids’ animated adventure series, Peppa Pig, Netflix has also scheduled the arrival of The Miseducation of Cameron Post for December 29th for a triple dose of entertainment.

Meanwhile, for December 30th, Netflix has arranged a showbiz lineup featuring a gripping new true-crime documentary, Evil Influencer: The Jodi Hildebrandt Story, alongside a stand-up comedy special by Ricky Gervais, titled Ricky Gervais: Mortality.

Moving on to December 31st, what’s coming to Netflix includes a fresh documentary on pop musician Becky G, Rebecca, a rom-com blast from the past, Sleeping with Other People, and the AMC horror series, The Walking Dead: Dead City. But most importantly, landing on Netflix on the last day of 2025 is the highly anticipated finale of Stranger Things. So, you’d better buckle up now!

But in case you think the storm of entertainment will subside with the Upside Down’s unveiling one last time, you’re honestly in for a surprise. With the onset of New Year’s, Netflix plans to go all out, and it’s time you strap in for the rollercoaster.

On the first day of the year, coming to Netflix on the movies front are 12 Years A Slave, 30 Minutes or Less, Becky, Bleeding Tiger: Resolution, Brüno, Colombiana, Conan the Destroyer, Dawn of the Dead, Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2, District 9, Dune, Erin Brockovich, Facing the Giants, Ford v Ferrari, Forever My Girl, Free Solo, Ghostbusters: Answer the Call, Green Room, Harry and the Hendersons, and Hellboy.

Also joining them are Johnny Mnemonic, Just Go with It, Lies We Tell, Lone Survivor, Man on Fire, Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life, Mr Malcolm’s List, My Girl, Only the Brave, Pitch Perfect, Pitch Perfect 2, Priscilla, The Vanishing of Sidney Hall, Twins, The Miracle Season, and Wild Things.

Series-wise, Netflix plans to drop Detective Conan, Dr Seuss’s Red Fish, Blue Fish, Falling Skies, Love from 9 to 5, My Korean Boyfriend, Physical: Welcome to Mongolia, Run Away, Time Flies, and Transformers: Earthspark, on January 1st, 2026.

Coming to Netflix on January 2nd are After the Quake, Found, Grizzly & The Lemmings, Land of Sin, and Your Turn to Kill. Lastly, with The Following, Netflix calls it a wrap for the week.
