Every film and series leaving Netflix this week: September 2023

As the calendar flips towards October, Netflix bids farewell to a few more movies and TV shows this week.

From mesmerising science fiction to heart-pounding action and beloved classics, the streaming giant’s departure list for this week has a lot of gems.

On September 29th, Annihilation (2018) takes its leave. This mind-bending science fiction thriller, directed by Alex Garland, explores the mysteries of an otherworldly phenomenon known as ‘The Shimmer’, where alien presence mutates the local flora and fauna.

While September 29th has only one title being removed, the 30th marks the departure of numerous titles, including the gritty drama Clear and Present Danger, the superhero comedy Kick-Ass, and the epic historical miniseries Hatfields & McCoys.

Additionally, the legendary Rocky film franchise, spanning from the original to Rocky V, takes its final bow, allowing fans to relive the underdog journey of Sylvester Stallone’s iconic boxer one last time.

Titanic is also leaving the platform by the end of this month, along with Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness. The romantic zombie comedy flick Warm Bodies, starring Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, Rob Corddry, Dave Franco, and John Malkovich, also bows out.
