Every film and series leaving Netflix in January 2024

As the new year unfolds, Netflix is all prepped to bid farewell to a slew of beloved films and series, including some of the most iconic and award-winning titles.

Among the notable departures on January 1st, 2024, are cinematic gems like Gladiator (2000), Jaws (1975), and A Beautiful Mind (2001), the biographical drama that earned several Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

Fans of action-packed thrillers will miss Captain Phillips (2013), a tense and riveting film based on real events, starring Tom Hanks. Another departure is the classic Spielberg masterpiece Saving Private Ryan (1998).

Lost in Translation (2003), featuring Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson, bids adieu as well. The film, directed by Sofia Coppola, won the hearts of audiences and earned three Academy Award nominations.

January 2nd marks the departure of A Call to Spy (2019), a gripping World War II drama based on true events, showcasing the courage of female spies. Meanwhile, January 6th sees the exit of two socially relevant and critically acclaimed films—BlacKkKlansman (2018) and Get Out (2017), both directed by Jordan Peele, exploring themes of racism and societal issues.

January 31st brings the curtain down on a diverse array of titles, including the enchanting musical La La Land (2016), which swept the 89th Academy Awards with six wins. Also bidding farewell is the coming-of-age story, Luca Guadagnino’s Call Me By Your Name.
