A brand-new week means a fresh new line-up of films and TV shows will show up on Netflix. From hit shows like Killing Eve to cringe-comedies like Knocked Up, your watchlist is about to extend further than before.
First up, brace yourself for a rollercoaster ride of psychic powers and supernatural adventures with Mob Psycho 100. The first two seasons of this shonen manga adaptation will arrive on the platform this week. Follow the journey of an extraordinary young man navigating the challenges of adolescence while grappling with his extraordinary abilities.
There will be more animated content this week. Overlord seasons one through four arrive with thrilling quests and epic battles. For those feeling nostalgic, The Fairly OddParents is bringing back cherished childhood memories with whimsical escapades and magical mishaps galore.
All four seasons of Killing Eve will be available to stream on Netflix from this week. Based on Luke Jennings’ Villanelle novel series, this Phoebe Waller-Bridge creation only had one solid season (incidentally, the one Waller-Bridge was the head writer for), followed by three tepid ones. But it’s worth a watch nonetheless.
Luc Besson’s terribly panned Anna to Judd Apatow’s hammy Knocked Up add to the list of mindless action and comedy binges available on streaming.
One of the highlights of the week is the Hans Zimmer documentary Hollywood Rebel, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the creative genius behind some of cinema’s most iconic scores, from Dunkirk to Dune. Duran Duran: There’s Something You Should Know is the other musical documentary arriving on the platform on April 21st.
Jimmy Carr’s Natural Born Killer is the stand-up comedy special of the week, taking on cancel culture and more. All four seasons of the historical adventure series Black Sails will make for an interesting binge session as well.
And there’s more. The week ahead has plenty to offer, with a lineup that includes the latest seasons of The Circle, Don’t Hate the Player, The Grimm Variations, Bros, and The Upshaws, as well as Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon: Part Two: The Scargiver. So, what will you be tuning into this week?
