Did you know Netflix has a documentary on Red Hot Chili Peppers coming soon?

Netflix’s catalogue of documentaries has always been second to none. But with time, it’s only getting bigger and better, as is evident from the newly announced Red Hot Chili Peppers documentary.

Netflix recently announced a new documentary, The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brothers, Hillel, focusing on and remembering the two original members of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Flea and Anthony Kiedis, and the late Hillel Slovak as its subject.

Directed by Ben Feldman, best known for Bug Out, Rich & Shameless, The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brothers, Hillel, recounts the friendship between a group of boys growing up in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, capturing the adventures, moments, antics, arguments, and obsessions that shaped their bond, alongside the respect, love, and affection for Hillel’s life, whose legacy endures in an everlasting way.

The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brothers, Hillel is constructed brick by brick with Hillel’s journal entries, archival footage and interviews with current and former band members, including Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam drummer Jack Irons, alongside Alain Johannes of Eleven and funk legend George Clinton.

As Netflix puts it, “The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brother, Hillel is a raucous, moving, and surprisingly tender look at the power of adolescent bonds and the enduring legacy of Hillel.” So, the lovers of rock music surely know where to be this spring.

Marc D’Agostini is producing The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brothers, Hillel, while Dan Braun, Josh Braun, David Blackman, James Slovak, and Ben Feldman serve as executive producers.

The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brothers, Hillel is expected to retrace the rock band’s formative years, particularly highlighting their bandmate Hillel Slovak’s influence on the band, the music, and the genre. Although there’s limited information available online about the documentary, the good news is: you don’t have to wait that long for it to be released on Netflix.

For those curious about The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brothers, Hillel’s release date, the documentary is scheduled to be released on Netflix on March 20th. So, mark the date before you forget and thank us later for the reminder.
