'Cobra Kai' season 4 will hit Netflix later this year

Since Cobra Kai arrived on Netflix back in 2018, it has slowly but surely become one of its most popular shows. The series which finds middle-aged Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence martial arts rivals once again a decade on from their 1984 bout is now set to return later in the year.

Netflix announced the following information earlier this week: “What happened in the first part of this year was that a lot of the projects that we’d hoped to come out earlier did get pushed because of the post-production delays and Covid delays and we think we’ll get back to a much steadier state in the back half of the year,” Netflix said early yesterday.

“Certainly in Q4 where we have the returning seasons of some of our most popular shows like The Witcher and You and Cobra Kai as well as some big tentpole movies that came to market a little slower than we’d hoped like Red Notice and Escape From Spiderhead.”

As of yet no plot details have been released relating to the series but these can be expected, along with casting additions in the coming weeks.

In other promising news for Cobra Kai fans, it is widely reported that this latest instalment certainly won’t be the last, as show runners have stated that at least seasons are in the offing.
