While Netflix has been a loyal companion during such trying times, we often feel hollow while aimlessly surfing through the wide variety of content. However, there is one such site that has started making hilarious Netflix parodies containing shows and films that are otherwise unavailable to watch.
Created and designed by Lynn Fisher, ‘Nestflix’ is a parodied version of Netflix that comprises “nested fiction”, that is, shows and films that are featured within popular TV shows and films. More like reading the story that resides within the story.
With weirdly addictive content like The Rick Dalton Collection, Horsin’ Around, The Itchy Scratchy Movie and more, the site has been parodying Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, BoJack Horseman and The Simpsons, among various others.
With brilliant designs and animation, it feels like using the original Netflix interface. It is an exact parody of the streaming giant that has the browsing list, cast list, stills and synopsis for every title out of 400 existing titles.
Fisher has also added the genre and search page besides adding a submission corner where viewers can contribute and pitch their ideas.
However, Fisher has said that the shows and films must be fictional and fun. As of now, she is not accepting suggestions regarding chat shows or fictional news.
