Catch up with Covey in her senior year in the ‘XO, Kitty’ season three trailer

Spring is going to be in full bloom soon, with Kitty Song Covey returning to KISS for her senior year in XO, Kitty season three. So, in anticipation of her comeback, Netflix just unveiled the long-awaited trailer, showcasing quite the exciting glimpses from Kitty’s upcoming chapter, including an unexpected cameo.

While she seems overwhelmingly excited about senior year, as she should be, Kitty cannot help but ponder the things she’s yet to tick off her Senior Sunset list.

For those curious about what her Senior Sunset list comprises, well, firstly, she needs to decide where she wants to apply to college; secondly, Kitty wants to have a traditional Chuseok meal with her Korean family, which, although, might sound mundane to make it to a before-I-graduate list, is undoubtedly going to turn out into a task on its own.

But the most important thing she really wants from her senior year is to define her relationship with Min Ho. However, with Kitty constantly failing to voice her own feelings and her good deeds for Min Ho turning into unprecedented sabotage, she seems to be nearly hitting rock bottom. Then again, Kitty knows just who to turn to in times of crises concerning the heart, and that’s what she does: calls Lara Jean.

As a big sister, Lara also knows what to do: book a ticket to Seoul and listen to your little sister’s Cupid problems. Which is why she is soon heard sharing some pearls of wisdom, “Whatever happens with Min Ho, we can’t just stop living our lives. We have to follow our hearts and trust that it will lead us to our next great adventure.”

Although Kitty seems to have mapped out her perfect senior year at KISS at first, the trailer is proof that plenty of obstacles, drama, and bittersweet confrontations await her. But that doesn’t mean that she won’t form meaningful memories with her friends, grow closer to her relatives in Korea, or even make the best decision for her future.

As for the twists and turns that await Kitty’s relationship with Min Ho? Well, viewers will have to find that for themselves when XO, Kitty returns this spring with its star cast and fan-favourite characters from the original franchise.

For those uninitiated, XO, Kitty returns to Netflix with its signature quirks, fun, and emotional peaks on April 2nd. So, mark your calendars!
