Can you watch ‘Black Rabbit’ in a day?
When Netflix leveraged the era of short-format releases with a deliberate curation of limited series, it did so to ensure that they became a part of people’s daily lives. But the question that routinely troubles subscribers is whether they can complete certain titles within a day, such as the recently released Black Rabbit.
Well, firstly, the answer is subject to change with the projects concerned. However, if the question strictly addresses the watchability of Black Rabbit, the answer is yes.
Zach Baylin and Kate Susman teamed up for this limited series on Netflix starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman, which tells the story of two polar opposite brothers: Jake Friedkin, an up-and-coming restaurateur and Vince Friedkin, a spell for disaster. Since Vince left the business, Jake has made Black Rabbit, a high-end hotspot in New York City.
With business booming, he even plans to expand the restaurant. But that’s only until Vince returns to upend his life of bliss and career. Black Rabbit was released on Netflix last week, on September 18th. But the buzz surrounding its release has been in the air for a pretty long time now. For those unaware, the streaming giant ordered eight episodes for the series, each with a runtime of about 44 to 68 minutes.
Although each episode varies in length, the total viewing time is definitely not more than seven to eight hours. In case you want to watch over the weekend, like on Saturday or Sunday, finishing Black Rabbit in one go won’t look like such a task. However, if you plan to squeeze your watch schedule between the workweek, an uninterrupted eight-hour watch feels unlikely.
Black Rabbit has been described as a binge-worthy watch by most viewers who have watched it within a day. So, there’s no doubt about its credibility. But as we mentioned, it’s easily watchable within a day, provided there are no external distractions to disrupt the binge session.
If you’re planning to tune into Black Rabbit on your day off, then you shouldn’t think twice. Just ensure it’s a break-free binge because otherwise, the streaming halts might spoil the continued marathon.
