‘Bo Burnham: The Inside Outtakes’ arriving on Netflix tomorrow

On August 11th, Bo Burnham’s The Inside Outtakes will finally arrive on Netflix.

It must be said, Bo Burnham: The Inside Outtake has been on his YouTube channel since May 31st and has already clocked up over 6 million views on the platform. According to the description, it “delivers a bonus hour of unused material, cut songs, and behind-the-scenes footage from his Emmy-winning musical comedy masterpiece”.

When he launched the outtake special on YouTube, Burnham wrote an Instagram post and told fans: “A year ago today, I released a special called inside. I’ve spent the last two months editing together material that I shot for the special but didn’t end up using. it will be on my youtube channel in one hour. I hope you enjoy it”.

The latest output from Burnham was filmed between March 2020 and May 2021, and he then edited the content from April to May this year. Burnham became the first individual to win three solo Primetime Emmy awards in one year for ‘Outstanding Music Direction’, ‘Outstanding Writing’, and ‘Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special’.
