Arnold Schwarzenegger confirmed as Netflix’s Action Officer

In order to promote his new action series FUBAR, to be released on Thursday (25th May) later this year, Netflix have released a new two-minute promotional video starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. It sees Arnie arrive at the Netflix HQ to be crowned the streaming giant’s Chief Action Officer.

The Terminator and Predator star then promises to bring high-octane action to Netflix, showing clips from shows and films which are currently available on the streamer, including The Night Agent and The Mother, as well as a snippet from Extraction 2, starring Chris Hemsworth and set to be released on 16th June.

Elsewhere there are glimpses at the third season of The Witcher with Henry Cavill arriving on 29th June and the spin-off Hearts of Stone on 11th August. We see Michelle Yeoh and Justin Chien in The Brothers Sun and Lift with Kevin Hart and Jean Reno, amongst many other stars.

In other Arnold news, he recently named his most “underrated role” in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, admitted that it’s the 1993 action-comedy Last Action Hero. “It wasn’t fantastic, but it was underrated,” he said. “Now, more and more people are seeing it and saying, ‘I love this movie.’ I’m getting the residual checks, so I know it’s true.”
