As ever with Netflix, a new month brings a new cull of shows to create room for new content. Meaning that you might only have a few weeks left to catch up on your favourites or else finally give a click to that series you’ve spent hours hovering over. 

Amongst the shows set to go in the US are the first two seasons of Twin Peaks, all eight seasons of Portlandia, all five seasons of Twilight Zone and every episode of Hannibal.

Whereas when it comes to movies, many family favourites have also received the last call, quite surprisingly, considering the summer holidays are on the horizon. 

Amongst the notable flicks set to depart are Back to the Future (Trilogy), Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Training Day, Scarface and more.

Many of these films and TV shows will be replaced by new original content as Netflix looks to increase its own production side of things in a bid to reduce debts incurred.
