Aaron Paul once picked his favourite episode of 'Breaking Bad'

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie actor Aaron Paul shared his favourite episode from the popular series.

Considered one of the greatest TV shows of all time, Vince Gilligan’s Emmy-winning show Breaking Bad has become a cult favourite. Besides stunning visuals and sublime cinematography, Gilligan and his creative team’s genius shines through via the detailed episodes, layered character arcs and twisted narrative.

Paul has starred as the epic character, Jesse Pinkman in the series. The film is a nostalgic continuation of the series which chronicles Pinkman’s past and focuses on a character’s tragic death.

Recently, on Bryan Cranston’s birthday, we picked out five epic moments from the series which you can read here. Paul, too, shared his favourite episode from season two, titled ‘4 Days Out’.

An absolute classic, the episode saw Jesse Pinkman and Walt White share some quality bonding time while trying to cook ungodly amounts of meth. The film revisited the episode and saw Bryan Cranston making a return as Walt White. Together, they discuss the prospect of making money with meth. El Camino also saw Jesse say “Bitch” on multiple occasions which has become a catchphrase of his, much like Sean Bean’s “bastard”.

Paul revealed how he improvised the use of the word in that scene. “That was the one ‘Bitch’ I improvised in the history of Breaking Bad and El Camino,” he revealed. “Every other ‘Bitch’ was scripted.

“I think it was the second time I read the script, it occurred to me: ‘Oh my God, Jesse doesn’t say bitch. Wow’. And Vince [Gilligan] never even thought about it.”

He added, “He was like, ‘Oh, wow. I guess he doesn’t say bitch’. And I just improvised it the first take and we just ran with it and he thought it was a perfect place for it.”
