One of the greatest footballers of his generation, a new Netflix documentary focusing on Brazilian footballer Neymar is coming in 2022. It will be a three-part series and titled Neymar: Perfect Chaos.
The documentary will arrive on January 25th and will put the enigmatic forward front and centre. It will look at the highs and lows of his career and provide a side of Neymar that has rarely been seen before.
The Paris Saint-Germain striker shared the news via the news on Twitter: “Today is a very special day for me and also for everyone who has been with me on this long journey in football.
“@netflix today announces the release of “Neymar: O Chaos Perfeito”, which will be available on the platform from January 25th. Anxious is not enough! #neymarNetflix.”
The one-minute trailer not only shows the talent of Neymar on the pitch but also his massive moves off the pitch too. The main bulk of the documentary is centred on a candid interview with Neymar. The interviewer begins by asking: “I have a question, Ney. How should the series start?”
To which he replies: “I think it should talk about my behaviour. People judging me, you know? Neymar is a monster, this and that. Going scene by scene, you know. It’d keep going, the people bad-mouthing me… and then they would get to know me.”
It’s yet one more Netflix documentary on an acclaimed sports star and we bet this one will land with aplomb.
