Every series leaving Netflix this week: April 2023

As we rattle on towards the end of April and the warmer month of May, we’ll welcome a few exciting episodes, series and movies to Netflix. Sadly, as always, we must also tilt our hats to some beloved shows that have reached the end of their contracts.

In recent weeks, the K-drama series The Glory has caused a surge in viewing stats and has taken a comfortable lead as the platform’s most-watched release of the past week. Last week The Glory marked its 11th consecutive week on the list. Other K-dramas in the Top Ten include Divorce Attorney Shin and Crash Course in Romance.

The latest viewership figure for The Glory places it as the most-watched TV series across both the English and non-English top ten lists, surpassing other popular releases, including season four of You, the docuseries MH370: The Plane That Disappeared and the second season of the Spanish drama Wrong Side of the Tracks.

Luther: The Fallen Sun, the movie follow-up of the hit BBC series, was another notable entry for April so far. The movie saw the return of Idris Elba’s titular character as he broke from the clutches of the law. Despite positive reviews, some fans have noticed an inconsistency between the series’ ending and the movie, which the show’s creator has since commented on.

Below, we have listed the series’ that will take a final bow over the next week.
